1638 AD ENGLAND ROBERT FLUDD PHILOSOPHIA MOYSAICA

A page from Philosophia Moysaica, Robert Fludd's last book, printed at Gouda in 1638, the year after his death. Fludd grounded his cosmology in the Pentateuch, reading the Genesis creation account as a coded description of the physical universe; an English version followed in 1659 as Mosaicall Philosophy, published in London two decades after the Latin original.
