1700 BC CRETE MINOS PHAISTOS DISC
A fired-clay disc from the Minoan palace of Phaistos, stamped on both sides with 45 distinct symbols arranged in a spiral, now in the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Dated to around 1,700 BC; among its symbols is an arrangement of six dots around a seventh, read by some as a satkona.
