20160127 USA VISUALIZING QUATERNIONS

A visualization of the quaternion unit sphere, the eight units 1, i, j, k and their negatives placed on a globe with multiplication arrows for the three imaginary axes, alongside a stereographic-projection variant used to unfold quaternion rotations onto a flat plane. Quaternion visualizations of this kind circulate widely in both academic and hobbyist math-education contexts (a more elaborate, explicitly credited version by 3Blue1Brown and Ben Eater appears elsewhere in this batch, dated 2018); this earlier 2016 image could not be matched to a specific named source.
